New attractions, including bungee trampoline and Zap Zone, planned for Crossroads Mall

Crossroads Mall is being restructured by Summit Properties USA, its new owner.

Adding to their "diverse portfolio of super regional shopping centers across the U.S.," such as the Lansing Mall, Fashion Square in Saginaw and Westwood Mall in Jackson, Summit Properties USA bought and is restructuring the management of the Crossroads Mall, aiming to enhance the customer experience, increase community engagement and foster local economic growth, according to Summit Properties officials.

“Our goal is to not only enhance the shopping experience but also to make a meaningful impact on the local community” Marni Sawicki, general manager of Crossroads Mall, said. “We look forward to working closely with local stakeholders to achieve these goals.”

Updates coming to the mall include newly leased spaces, a bungee trampoline attraction in the center court and a Zap Zone with a bar, grill, arcade, bowling, roller skating and electric go-karts, Summit Properties officials said.

Other initiatives being brought about by Summit Properties are:
